The Foresworn

History

 

The Marsh Era

The Foresworn was the first alliance in The Foresworn order, started by odd-donkey in March 2014, on the Browser-based RTS, GoodGame Empire. In 2012, an alliance that I shall not name here was created, but due to issues with another alliance was led to a war of spying, backstabing and corruption - this was not how our members wanted to play, so many disbanded and went their seperate ways, while some valiant knights were destroyed by their 'friends' and 'allies' and are now no more. odd-donkey left while the Generals fought over leadership and that alliance now thrives - high up on the Alliance Leaderboard. Out of the ashes some months later The Foresworn was formed using the last remaining rubies, and the search for greatest was on.

 

The Tahasin Era

The first recruit was Blackroxxor, a level 50 on Germany 1, but new to International 1. She stayed for many months pioneering the unity of the members, but then left to find different things, and parted ways. Then came rafl and Dregor Flame, will honor in thousands as they became the first War Marshals. We then recruited new players that we could inspire and help to grow, like artan and saleem baloch, the first training recruits. We found novices and members, but many did not survive their trial test - they were to proud to ask for help on such a tough task. We had to find new and powerful leaders, our Dark Knights messaged deputies and generals from the most powerful alliances, telling them to join us for reward. One such message got out of hand. This started a war over the Deputy, Tahasin. The war lasted many weeks. Then, just after we believed that we had won, our icon of hope left us due to lies and betrayal: to which we paid tribute.

 

The Headlong Era

After the previous collapse, The Dark Knights were disbanded for violating The Knight's Code, and they were punished for breaking their oathes. Then we created a new, reformed force, just as ruthless, just as silent; but much more disciplined. We call them The Shadow Knights of The Order, and now they serve us.

Time passed as the alliance grew, finding members, bringing them close, building them up. We learned to communicate, we developed a democracy, we played the game.

And then we were recruiting once more - with our family, our branches, and our affiliations. We were building The Order. The Foresworn Order.
